Does your family have spare bikes?

• We’re collecting gently used bikes and bike locks. It’s ok if they need a little maintenance, but we don’t have the capability to supply new parts (such as if the chain is rusted out).

• Pickup in town: We will pickup bikes from your home in Maplewood or South Orange (only). Alternatively you can drop them off in Maplewood.

• We cannot accept helmets.

• We are not a 501c3, therefore donations are not tax deductible.

• We are not buying/selling bikes. If you’d like to buy/sell used bikes, we recommend SOMa Swap or Facebook Marketplace. We also have a gear chat room in our whatsapp community.

Does your family need bikes?

• Depending on how many we receive, we are hoping to have in person events to distribute bikes to families who need them, as well as offering them to our school communities.

• You can contact us with a request by filling out the Contact Us form on our website. Please include the bike sizes you are requesting, and what schools the children attend.

If I donate a bike will I be able to pick a bike (swapping bikes)?

• No, we aren’t able to guarantee any specific bike as it depends on what we receive.

• Our focus with this program is to help more families that don’t have bike equipment to be able to join the bike bus and ride with us!
